Google+ Editing Shortcuts

GooglePlus

For those of you who use Google+, you might have noticed the lack of an editing toolbar when writing your posts. Here are 3 really simple editing shortcuts you can use to quickly format your text. For some weird reason, there’s no option to underline at all. Also, interestingly enough, if you want to format your entire post, you’ll have to do it paragraph by paragraph.

*text*  =  text
_text_  =  text
-text-  =  text

The following sentence:
*Hello, this is a sample* text message which I am writing to explain to you -morons- _people_ how to use keyboard shortcuts for Google+.

Becomes:
Hello, this is a sample text message which I am writing to explain to you morons people how to use keyboard shortcuts for Google+.

It even works if you decide to do inception editing (an edit inside an edit inside an edit…).

*-Hello- _everyone_,*  =  Hello everyone,
